His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Muhammad bin Fahad Al-Sharekh, sponsored on Wednesday evening the closing ceremony of the seventh summer club, which was organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs over 5 weeks, during which it offered more than 460 activities in 11 tracks, benefiting 45016 male and female beneficiaries of in-person and virtual programs, in the presence of university council members, affiliates and parents of the participants, at the Olympic Sports Complex in the University City, in the presence of the members of the university council and its affiliates and the families of the participants.
The UQU President praised the club's programs and activities, which had a great impact on developing the skills and talents of students from all educational stages during the summer vacation, which enhances the university's community role, and the optimal investment of the time of male and female students in general and university education, asking Allah to grant them success in serving their religion, leadership and homeland.
For the seventh consecutive year, the university is organizing the Summer Club activities to develop their abilities and skills in an interactive learning environment, which included a number of tracks aimed at strengthening national identity and positive contribution to society, in addition to modern technologies and applications of artificial intelligence, innovation and entrepreneurship, design and creative thinking, leadership and personal skills, and other topics such as sustainability and renewable energy, physical fitness and sports activities, first aid and health awareness, in addition to e-learning and e-learning.
His Excellency the UQU President also toured the accompanying exhibition "Vision and Renaissance", which contained 20 corners, including: National Identity, Space World, Drones, Cybersecurity, and Kingdom of Giving, presented by a number of the club's participants, after which he honored a number of external parties participating in the club, and the winning and distinguished students in a number of competitions and tracks.
