During his patronage of the ceremony, H.H. the Emir of Qassim praised the great efforts made by His Excellency Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Dawood to the university, saying that I knew him throughout his 8 years at this university with his sincerity and dedication, and above all his work to calculate the reward for the face of God to serve this country and serve this university, then after that professionalism, keenness and careful follow-up of all university affairs and its relations with all other government sectors, headed by the Emirate of the region. His Highness added: "I saw from Dr. Abdul Rahman all sincerity, dedication and love, in addition to the ease of dealing with everyone, noting that he considers that Qassim University is not one university but universities in a university, which makes dealing with all the near and far working conditions and the requirements of students not easy, stressing that if there was not a seasoned man and administrator with deep experience in dealing with everyone, the university would not have achieved these great achievements during his tenure as president of the university. He added: I cannot express all my feelings and prayers for Dr. Abdul Rahman, because he is one of the men whose sincerity, dedication and hard work for the development of the university are rare, praying to Allah Almighty to grant him all the best and give him health and well-being. His Highness stressed his confidence that these feelings are felt by all university employees, expressing thanks, appreciation and prayers for him that God will reward him well for what he has done for the university, and expressing his ambition for his brother and colleague, Dr. Mohammed Al-Sharekh, and the great hope to complete what has been achieved. His Excellency Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood then spoke during the honoring ceremony: For eight years, I was honored by the trust of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz - may Allah protect them - by appointing me as President of Qassim University, and I was fortunate to be assigned to this dear region and this rich university, and my colleagues and my colleagues have succeeded in serving our religion, our king and our country through what has been achieved, as the university passed the stage of establishment to excellence and competition locally and internationally, ranking third among universities in achieving academic accreditation. It also completed the implementation of all the projects it needs, occupied its medical city and veterinary hospital, got rid of all rented buildings, developed its strategic plan, administrative and academic structure to comply with the objectives of our Kingdom's Vision 2030, transformed the faculties of sciences and arts in the provinces into headquarters that benefit all colleges with their different specializations, and developed its infrastructure in digital and technical transformation. The former university president added: I do not stand here to say goodbye, but to thank God Almighty for enabling me and my colleagues to achieve what has been achieved, because the soul does not leave those who reciprocate the feelings of love, loyalty, appreciation and achievement, stressing that the university abounds with distinguished competencies of brothers and sisters who are keen to distinguish it and raise its level in all fields (education, scientific research and community service), which will enable it, God willing, to maintain its gains and assume a high position locally and internationally. Al-Dawood extended his thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Highness the Crown Prince, His Highness the Emir of the region, His Highness the Deputy Emir, and His Excellency the Minister of Education, Chairman of the Council of University Affairs, for the constant interest and support for education in general and for the university, asking Allah to grant everyone success and guidance to serve our dear country and fulfill the aspirations of our wise leadership - may Allah protect them -. For his part, His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Mohammed bin Fahad Al-Sharekh, said: His Excellency Dr. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood was the man of the stage in the university, which he presided over and excelled, managed and succeeded, and completed the march in it for eight years, during which the university assumed a prestigious place and an important position in quality, ranking and accreditation, in addition to achieving a high level of success In addition to achieving spending efficiency, switching to electronic transactions, dispensing with all rented buildings, as well as building the comprehensive structure of the university according to scientific premises and field studies and following it up until it culminated in accreditation from the competent authorities, all of this and more is a field of pride for the university that is credited to His Excellency Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Dawood. He added: These efforts could not have been achieved, nor these successes to follow, nor these achievements to be completed and bear fruit except by the success of God, then by the support, encouragement and continuous follow-up received by the education sector from our wise leadership, so that we became an example to the whole world in planning and drawing the future through thoughtful visions and promising initiatives and the follow-up of loyal and devoted men. After that, HH the Emir of Qassim inaugurated the exhibition accompanying the ceremony, which contains 21 corners showcasing the most prominent achievements of the university and the achievements of its staff and students. The ceremony included the playing of the royal peace, the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, and the screening of a documentary film about the university's progress during his presidency over eight years and the various achievements of the university in the scientific, research, innovation, administration, and various fields. At the conclusion of the ceremony, His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Meshal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Qassim Region, honored His Excellency Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood and handed him the book of his achievements during his tenure as President of the University.
