His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Sharekh, witnessed the final finals of the second edition of His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz Holy Quran Memorization Competition, with prizes estimated at more than 400 thousand riyals, in which the number of participants exceeded more than 1000 students, in the presence of the UQU Vice President for Educational Affairs, Dr. Fahd Al-Ahmad, at the Deanship of Student Affairs Theater in the main campus of the university.

The competition is held in three accredited branches for memorizing the Quran; the first branch is memorizing the entire Quran, the second branch is memorizing twenty parts, and the third branch is memorizing ten parts, and the preliminary qualifications for the competition were launched during the holy month of Ramadan to sort the contestants, through which 143 male and female participants qualified for the final qualifications.

His Excellency the President of the University expressed his thanks and appreciation to the wise leadership - may Allah protect it - for its interest and care for the Book of Allah and the people of the Holy Qur'an. He extended his sincere thanks to His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Meshal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Qassim Region, for his generous sponsorship of this competition, praying to Allah Almighty to grant success to the participating male and female students, and urging them to persevere in memorizing the Holy Qur'an and continue their path in its recitation, interpretation and memorization to be a support for them in this world and the hereafter.
