His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Qassim Region, witnessed on Monday in his office at the Emirate's headquarters the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the University Medical City and the Qassim Health Cluster. The memorandum aims to enhance cooperation in the field of medical services. The signing was attended by His Excellency the President of the University, Professor Dr. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, and the CEO of the Qassim Health Cluster, Dr. Musa bin Mohammed Al-Harbi.
This memorandum, signed by Dr. Khalid bin Fahad Al-Hazeizi, Executive Director of the University Medical City, on behalf of the university, and by the CEO of Qassim Health Cluster, on behalf of the cluster, aims to elevate the level of partnership and joint coordination between the two parties. This includes providing a range of medical services in 6 areas: patient referral, workforce, intensive and critical care units, laboratories, radiology and medical imaging, and medications. This will be achieved by leveraging the capabilities and resources available to both parties to deliver high-quality, distinguished healthcare services with high efficiency that meet the desired aspirations.
His Highness the Prince of Al-Qassim region emphasized the importance of signing this memorandum, which comes as an affirmation of the continuous fruitful mutual cooperation between government entities in the region, and activating medical cooperation to serve patients in the Al-Qassim region, and supporting the fields targeted by the agreement to achieve the public interest and improve outcomes, in light of His Highness's continuous follow-up and constant keenness regarding the development of mutual cooperation between various sectors, and benefiting from the opportunities and expertise available in the region.
The two parties valued the attention and support of His Highness the Prince of the region for the health services development projects in the region, and raising the level of efficiency and performance within the health transformation program and the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to improve quality of life and build an ambitious and prosperous nation that enjoys well-being through a comprehensive and sustainable development process.
