His Excellency Prof. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, President of the University, handed over the doctoral graduation document to the relatives of the student Saud bin Manahi Al-Shammari, who passed away before defending his thesis in the Doctor of Philosophy in Literary Studies program, in a humanitarian gesture by the UQU President, where his son Yazeed bin Saud bin Saud Manahi Al-Shammari and his brother Talal bin Manahi Al-Shammari received it at the headquarters of the University City.

UQU President offered his condolences to the deceased's family and congratulated them on obtaining his doctorate degree, asking Allah Almighty to have mercy on him and to make his efforts and dedication to his work in the balance of his good deeds.

Al-Shammari passed away before defending his doctoral thesis in the Philosophy of Literary Studies program -He passed away before defending his doctoral dissertation in the Philosophy in Literary Studies program entitled: "The Poem in Narrative Discourse: A Deliberative Approach in Samples of Saudi Narrative," which was supervised by Dr. Ibrahim bin Ali Al-Dughairi, Professor of Literature and Criticism at the College of Arabic Language and Social Studies.

His Excellency the UQU Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Muhammad bin Fahad Al-Sharekh, the Dean of the College of Arabic Language and Social Studies, Dr. Ibrahim bin Sulaiman Al-Lahim, the Dean of the Deanship of Postgraduate Studies, Dr. Ali bin Ibrahim Al-Lahim, and the Head of the Arabic Language Department, Dr. Saleh bin Muhammad Al-Saab.
