UQU President Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood congratulated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister - may Allah protect them - on the occasion of the approval of the state's general budget for the new fiscal year 2024.

Al-Dawood said: The significant support allocated to the education sector in the Saudi 2024 budget is one of the most important possibilities for stimulation and development in order to achieve the goals of the ambitious vision. It is also a major supporter of creativity and excellence in the outputs and achieving the goals of economic transformation, which will enable all state sectors to raise the level of performance, increase production, and continue implementing programs and projects that support the growth of the economic structure and achieve sustainable development.

The President of Qassim University also praised the allocation of 195 billion riyals from the 2024 general budget to the education sector, which confirms the interest of the wise leadership - may Allah uphold it - and its firm development approach in developing this sector and supporting its programs and initiatives to achieve the ambitions and vision of the Kingdom 2030, praising the unlimited support the university receives from the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the Crown Prince, praying to Allah Almighty to keep our country safe and secure and to maintain its prosperity and development.
