His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Emir of Qassim Region, patronized today, Tuesday, September 26, 2023, the celebration of the 93rd National Day held by Qassim University at the conference center of the University City, in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Fahd bin Abdullah Al-Samari, Advisor at the Royal Court, Secretary General of the King Abdulaziz Administration, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, President of the University, His Excellency the University Vice President, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Saawi, His Excellency the University Vice President for Planning, Development and Quality, Professor Khaled Bani Al-Harbi
For his part, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, President of the University, stressed during his speech during the ceremony that the 93rd National Day comes to remember and recall those glorious historical moments that our dear Kingdom has gone through, and to celebrate the renewal of love and loyalty to this tender homeland and its wise leadership - may God protect it We live feelings of joy, pride and pride, sensing the importance of that pivotal date, in which the founder King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud - may God have mercy on him - announced the unification of the country as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under one banner in 1351 AH, bringing people together after division and uniting them after discord, in a historic unity that can only succeed at the hands of heroes, pointing out that he was able - may God have mercy on him - with an elite group of compatriots, to present a united front to the nation.He was able, along with an elite group of countrymen, to present an epic of construction and development, which ended in the establishment of a great united state in which a generous people live under the shade of a single flag, which became a country of pride and pride, a model of success and progress, and now stands tall in the ranks of the world's leading countries.
He added: It is difficult to list what has been achieved and accomplished on the land of this country throughout these decades, but one of the most prominent things that God has blessed our country with is security, justice, prosperity and stability, the pillars of which were laid by King Abdulaziz, may God rest his soul His sons, (Saud, Faisal, Khalid, Fahd and Abdullah), may God have mercy on them all, until our prosperous reign, the reign of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz - may God protect him - who led the country in a virtuous path, assisted by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Prime Minister, who followed in the footsteps of the founder in his wisdom, wisdom and management, with all his strength and success, to continue the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This has resulted in a global impact, quality of life, and the best witness to these inspiring projects that cover the needs of generations in a unique diversity, in heritage, economy, tourism, sports, space, innovation and creativity, and modern industries, all of which were dreams yesterday, then became a reality today, witnessed by achievements.
The President of Qassim University explained that the celebration of the National Day is an inspiration for the efforts of those who came before us, a reminder of our glorious history, a sense of responsibility and a sense of motivation; to continue giving and growing, preserving the country and its gains, and defending it with all our strength, pointing out that it is a great opportunity to be inspired by this great national movement and contribute to building it as our fathers and grandfathers did, in one unity with our wise leadership, may Allah protect it. Our country has a great history, a dazzling present, and a promising future, God willing. He prayed to God Almighty to perpetuate the banner of glory, success, security and safety, and to protect our country from all evil and our leaders from all harm, as He is all-knowing and all-responsive.
The ceremony included the playing of the royal peace, a visual presentation on the most prominent efforts of the university during the year, in addition to a national operetta. The university also dedicated a book to His Highness entitled "The Policy of the Founding King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman in Reclaiming Men", prepared by a group of professors from the university's History Department, in addition to honoring a number of university council members and department directors whose terms of office ended during the year 2022-2023.
During his patronage of the ceremony, H.H. the Emir of Qassim opened the "We Dream and Achieve" exhibition, which contains 45 pavilions introducing the Kingdom since its unification by King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud - may God rest his soul - and the Kings of the Kingdom - may God have mercy on them - until our prosperous era led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud - may God protect them - as the exhibition contained programs of the Kingdom Vision 2030 and Kingdom projects such as: The Diriyah Gate Project, Sandala, Al-Ula Development and The Line, Al-Sudah Project, Sports Track and King Salman Park, Shuaiba Solar Energy Project, Electric Vehicles Project, the Kingdom's Astronaut Program, the Cube Project, serving the pilgrims, stages of education, pioneering in digital fields, the Digital Transformation Program, Neom City, in addition to reviewing the achievements of the university and its efforts in raising awareness about the harmful effects of drugs.
