The University, represented by the College of Economics and Administration, signed a memorandum of understanding with the General Secretariat of Zakat, Tax and Customs Committees on Thursday, 26/11/1444 A.H. It was signed by His Excellency the Dean of the College of Economics and Administration, Dr. Ahmed bin Saleh Al-Tuwaijri, and His Excellency the Secretary General of the General Secretariat of Zakat, Tax and Customs Committees, Mr. Abdullah bin Abdulrahman Al-Suhaibani, at the headquarters of the Secretariat in Riyadh.
This agreement aims to enhance joint cooperation between the two parties, enrich the scientific, academic and training content in the field of zakat disputes, exchange experiences and capabilities to serve the field of zakat, tax and customs disputes, as well as joint work to enhance national professional skills. The areas of cooperation include the exchange of information and scientific references between the two parties to be used in conducting specialized studies in the field of accounting and auditing, and the field of zakat, tax and customs disputes, in addition to scientific support in forums, meetings and seminars organized by the two parties.
The two parties also seek to enhance cooperation between them in accordance with the official laws and regulations, and benefit from various services to achieve community partnership in terms of holding professional meetings and events, as well as exchanging experiences and providing consultations in zakat, tax and customs disputes, in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations.
