University concludes Technical Career Day in cooperation with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology

His Excellency Prof. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, President of Qassim University, stressed that the Technical Career Day contributes to facilitating the task of accessing the university's graduates to job opportunities, and undoubtedly serves them at the level of their working life and also serves the entities that attract such competencies.

 

This came during the ceremony honoring the participating entities at the conclusion of the Technical Career Day, which was held by the university in partnership with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology for two days, at the main headquarters in University City, with the participation of more than 40 entities and included 6 guidance sessions and 8 workshops for the participants of the forum.

 

Al-Dawood praised the initiative of the University's College of Computing in implementing this technology and holding such an event with the support of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and in coordination with companies and institutions, expressing his pleasure in meeting the university's partners to contribute to the development of this dear country and the realization of the Saudi Vision 2030, explaining that holding such events and exhibitions has a great role in contributing to the development of our beloved Kingdom.

 

Al-Dawood revealed that the university will hold contracts with other companies and institutions in other fields other than the field of technology, which will be an opportunity for everyone to get a job through which they contribute and participate in the development of the country, offering thanks to our wise government, which supports the university in all its activities and programs, and to His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Meshal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, the Emir of the region, for his patronage and opening this activity and his support for all the university programs, and His Highness the Deputy Emir of the region, and the Minister of Communications and Information Technology who honored us with his presence on this occasion with His Excellency the Deputy, and thanks to the organizers of this event and the honorable attendees and all companies and companies.

 

 

The Technical Career Day aims to introduce the participating companies, offer job opportunities and conduct personal interviews, as an extension of the university and MCIT's keenness to empower national cadres and contribute to bridging the gap between supply and demand according to the requirements of the labor market with the participation of employment partners in the private and public sectors, to benefit from the support provided by the university and MCIT's Future Skills Initiative to meet their needs in digital jobs.
