After witnessing the graduation ceremony of the 12th batch of university students, Prince Faisal bin Mishaal:

His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Meshal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Emir of Qassim, stressed that Qassim University is a group of universities under one scientific edifice under the leadership of His Excellency Dr. Khaled bin Abdulrahman Al-Hamoudi and his colleagues, expressing his pride and pride in its achievements and keeping pace with the aspirations of the leadership and the aspirations of the people of the region in all its cities and governorates.
This came during his patronage of the graduation ceremony of the 12th batch of Qassim University students for the academic year 1435/1436 AH on Tuesday afternoon, numbering (8358) male and female graduates at the university's headquarters, where His Highness improvised a speech in which he congratulated the wise leadership, headed by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, on the issuance of the honorable royal orders, conveying at the same time to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques the allegiance of everyone in the region to His Highness the Crown Prince and His Highness the Deputy Crown Prince, His Highness also extended his congratulations to the parents of the graduating students, recalling his three graduation days (bachelor's, master's and doctorate), stressing that they are days of joy, calling on all students to be keen on the job, not necessarily in the government sector, indicating that the field in the private and private sectors is wide and large, calling on graduates not to specify or stipulate to work only in government agencies, and not to rise above the jobs in which they will compete with more than 10 million expatriates, who came and found job opportunities in our country. His Highness stressed that his heart and office are open to the graduates, and he will not hesitate to support them, recommending students to fear God, honor their parents and their homeland, be a help to all good, and stay away from all that is suspicious, especially in social media, stressing the importance for young people to feel the role they play towards their religion and homeland by defending them.
The graduation ceremony began with the Holy Quran and the Royal Salam before the graduates' march.
His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Khalid Abdulrahman Al-Hamoudi, then delivered a speech in which he said: As we gather at this blessed university to celebrate the graduation of a group of our children and present them to the workplaces and production sites qualified with knowledge, sciences and skills, we expect them to contribute effectively to the march of development and construction that organizes this country, stressing that they are the most important wealth in the most precious homeland.
He went on to say: The number of students graduating and expected to graduate in this batch reached (2907) graduates at the bachelor's level, including the first batch from the College of Sciences and Arts in Aqlat Al-Suqur Governorate in the two specializations of Arabic language (basic)
and Koranic studies.
We are also proud of the graduation of (118) male and female graduates of the postgraduate stage, seven of whom obtained a doctoral degree, praise be to God. The university will also celebrate the graduation of (5333) female graduates this Thursday evening, God willing, in a special ceremony for them, making the total number of graduates of the university this year (8240+118=8358) male and female graduates (8240+118=8358).
Addressing the graduates, His Excellency said:
I would like to congratulate you on this happy day, which is the culmination of the beautiful years you spent in the pursuit of knowledge. The university is proud of you as you are armed with knowledge to contribute to the advancement of this country that gave you so much. I cannot fail to emphasize to you that obtaining a university degree is not the end but the most important stage to cross and move from the role of a citizen who receives knowledge to the role of a citizen who participates in development, as the country that opens its doors to you in various fields is waiting for you to contribute to construction and development in any sector and field. The country that opens its doors to you in various fields is waiting for you to contribute to construction and development in any sector or field. The labor market in our country contains many and varied job opportunities, whether in the governmental or private sector or self-employment, and what you have to do in addition to obtaining a scientific degree is to arm yourself with seriousness, perseverance, determination and insistence.
Raise your hands in thanks to God for this success, and do not forget that you have reached this stage under the care of a group of faculty members who strived to give themselves to science and were exemplary in education and training, and here you are today the fruit of those efforts and the result of those bids, so they have from you and me all thanks and appreciation.
It is also important not to forget that Qassim University has done everything it can for you, so keep your relationship with the university after graduation close and keep the friendly relationship between you and the university.
I also find this opportunity to congratulate the families of our graduates, and especially congratulate the parents on this achievement achieved by their children, may God make them the apple of your eye and guide them on the path of goodness.
On behalf of the graduates and the university staff, the UQU President expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, and the Deputy Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, may Allah protect them all. They renewed their pledge of allegiance to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman and Abdulaziz, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed Nayef Abdulaziz, and the Deputy Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed Salman Abdulaziz.
He also extended his sincere thanks to His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Meshal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Qassim Region, for his patronage of this ceremony and his support for the university in all its occasions. He also extended his thanks and appreciation to His Excellency the Minister of Education, Dr. Azzam bin Mohammed Al-Dakhil, for his support for the university, appreciating the staff of the Deanship of Admission and Registration for organizing this ceremony, headed by the Dean of Admission and Registration, Prof. Ali Al-Saif, and his distinguished deputies, and thanks to all the university departments involved in preparing for this ceremony. I ask God Almighty to grant everyone a happy life, useful times and success after success.
After that, the ceremony was followed by a speech by the graduates, through which they emphasized their happiness in crowning their efforts on this blessed day, appreciating His Highness the Emir of Qassim for sponsoring their great wedding, appreciating their university for embracing them and providing them with knowledge throughout their years of study, promising God Almighty to be building blocks for their homeland, which deserves a lot from us.
After that, His Highness handed out certificates of appreciation to the graduates of bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees, and then took group photos with the graduates.
