Yesterday, Sunday, 4/3/1443 A.H., the university obtained programmatic accreditation for nine academic programs at the bachelor's, master's, and doctoral levels from the Education and Training Evaluation Commission represented by the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Assessment (NCAAA).
The academic programs obtained by the university varied to include all stages, as at the bachelor's stage, the programs of "Islamic Studies, Nursing, and Physiotherapy Doctor" were accredited, and at the master's stage, the programs of "Quran and its Sciences, Educational Psychology, Fundamentals of Jurisprudence, Sunnah and its Sciences, Faith and Contemporary Doctrines" were accredited, while the comparative jurisprudence program was accredited at the doctoral stage, bringing the total number of national program accreditation to 32, including 17 undergraduate programs, 6 postgraduate programs, and 17 international program accreditation for the bachelor's stage.
The university seeks to achieve these programmatic accreditations to raise the efficiency of the performance of its educational programs and outputs, in order to contribute to achieving the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and the targets of the Human Capacity Development Program, which includes targets related to the academic accreditation of universities institutionally and programmatically, as the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Assessment (Etimad) is one of the centers affiliated with the Authority, and aims to support the quality of higher education institutions and their programs, and evaluate and accredit them through a system and procedures that enhance the status of the outcomes of educational institutions and programs in the Kingdom locally and internationally.
