The university achieved the highest category in the star rating from the QS International Classification Organization by obtaining the 5-star category, for its excellence in a number of academic axes that deal with programmatic and institutional quality, after the university underwent continuous evaluation processes according to these specific criteria for repeated periods of time by QS, through independent arbitrators, and issuing periodic reports on the evaluation processes until reaching the final evaluation of the educational institution and then issuing the final results.

His Excellency Prof. Dr. Khalid Bani Al-Harbi, Vice President for Planning, Development and Quality, explained that the university ably obtained the highest category (5 stars) in this rating due to its institutional performance in adhering to achieving these comprehensive standards for academic aspects, pointing out that this is an international recognition of the level of discipline in the institutional and academic performance of the university by granting it this high category in the evaluation, stressing that this achievement comes as an extension of what the university achieved in previous times by obtaining institutional accreditation and many program accreditations, which reflected its effects on this international institutional accreditation and these

Al-Harbi said: This achievement would not have been achieved without the success of God Almighty first, then the support received by higher education institutions and Qassim University in particular from the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman - may God protect them - and the support and backing of His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Meshal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Qassim Region, His Royal Highness Prince Fahd bin Turki bin Faisal bin Turki, Deputy Governor of Qassim Region, and HE Minister of Education Dr. Hamad Al Sheikh, in addition to the direct supervision by HE Prof. Abdulrahman Al Daoud, President of Qassim Region, in addition to the direct supervision of the President of the University. 

For his part, His Excellency the Assistant Vice President for Planning and Quality Development, Dr. Abdullah bin Saleh Al-Juhani, stated that the university obtained this distinction and evaluation due to its excellence in its educational performance in general, and its excellence in particular in e-learning and various electronic services provided to its affiliates of all categories of students, faculty members and employees, in addition to its tireless work to build bridges of communication with various public and private employers, while serving its students by signing a number of cooperative training agreements for most of its academic programs with various companies to meet the large number of different specializations

Al-Juhani added that this excellence extended to the university and its leaders' interest in academic development in terms of offering training programs concerned with developing and improving the performance of faculty members and employees in general, and developing their various skills such as leadership skills, teamwork skills and dealing with various modern technologies. Of course, the university did not overlook the importance of services and facilities provided to various groups such as people with special needs and limited income, as the university was keen to provide various facilities and services for these groups.
