The College of Architecture and Planning at the University will organize its second architectural forum entitled "Urban Heritage - Principles and Values" tomorrow morning, Tuesday, 2 Rajab, 1436 A.H., corresponding to April 21, 2015, under the patronage of His Excellency the President of the University of Abu Dhabi. Prof. Dr. Khaled Al-Hamoudi Rector.
Many professors and researchers from 9 Saudi universities are participating in the event In addition to a number of secretariats from different parts of the Kingdom, 22 peer-reviewed scientific researches from various Saudi universities will be discussed during the events, through which many topics related to urban heritage will be addressed. The accompanying architectural exhibition will also be opened, through which many universities and secretariats participate, in addition to Qassim University represented by the College of Architecture and Planning and the College of Designs and Home Economics in Buraydah with pavilions that display samples of the work of its distinguished students, in addition to the presence of many Saudi and Arabian plastic artists with many of their paintings, in addition to a distinguished presence of many Saudi and Arab plastic artists with many of their paintings.
He will also Dr. Mohammed bin Ayesh Al-Maroui The Dean of the College of Architecture and Planning and the Chairman of the Forum honored Prof. Dr. Mashari Al-Naim, Professor at the College of Architecture and Planning at the University of Dammam and Supervisor of the National Urban Heritage Center, to be the personality of the Forum in its second session due to his scientific and practical contributions in the field of architecture and planning in general, and the field of urban heritage in particular.
