The university entered the QS WUR 2022 ranking for the first time in its history, as QS International announced at its international conference that the university reached 801st place globally after qualifying for competition with more than 1300 international universities, which comes as a culmination of the university's efforts in the quality of the educational and research process and the international academic reputation.
The university's overall performance according to the QS indicators is within 62% of the best global universities, as this international ranking is concerned with the university's reputation among academics globally, regionally and locally, in addition to measuring the impact of the university's graduates and the quality of its educational outputs among local and international employers.
The QS World University Rankings is one of the most important global rankings to categorize the best universities, as it is concerned with measuring the educational and research performance of universities through a number of indicators: including the ratio of the number of qualified faculty members, student numbers, research output, and the impact on science, education, and society.
