In his speech, the UQU President praised the great role played by the university in confronting the Corona pandemic by raising awareness and applying the required health precautionary and preventive measures, which were meticulously implemented by colleagues in the working committees formed at the university from the beginning of the pandemic until today, thank God, by performing all precautions in the required form and image, which led to the passing of the last semester without any issues related to this pandemic. He expressed his thanks to all the deans and deans for their wonderful organization during the students' remote study and in-person exams with ease and success. He also praised the great efforts made by the Deanship of Student Affairs since the beginning of the crisis to serve the dormitory students with high professionalism.
Al-Dawood congratulated all university employees on the occasion of obtaining the renewal of the university's institutional academic accreditation for the next seven years, saying: When a student enrolls in an academically accredited university with unconditional full accreditation, there is no doubt that he is proud of his university and it is an incentive and support for him to work hard and graduate from this accredited university, asking God Almighty to remove this pandemic from our country and the whole world, and to keep our country safe and secure and its wise leadership and to keep us prosperous and prosperous.
The ceremony included a review of the most important achievements of the year in student activities, in addition to honoring the clubs that won the university shields, in addition to honoring the students who volunteered in the Corona pandemic from the Rangers Club and the Volunteer Club. The ceremony also witnessed a presentation of a visual film by the Deanship of Student Affairs that included tours and efforts in multiple partnerships centered on the student. His Excellency the President of the University, Dr. Ali bin Freih Al-Aqlaa, honored the former Dean of Student Affairs and the students who volunteered in the Corona pandemic from the Jawala Club, namely: Ziad bin Fahad Al-Numsi, Tariq bin Aish Al-Harbi, Abdulrahman bin Ibrahim Al-Enezi, Rakan bin Shaye Al-Shayeh, Khalid bin Fahad Al-Harbi, Ayoub bin Abdullah Al-Harbi, and Iyad bin Mohammed Al-Tuwaijri, in addition to honoring the students who volunteered in the Corona pandemic from the Student Volunteering Club, namely: Omar bin Abdulaziz Al-Salal, Abdulaziz bin Fahad Al-Salami, Abdullah bin Fahad Al-Salami, Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Khowaiter, Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al-Omairi, and Abdullah bin Fahad Al-Yahya.
The distinguished student Ziad bin Fahad Al-Nomsi was honored in the Jawwala Club, who served more than 7640 volunteer hours, and over a period of 6 years, where he participated in public service camps in the Umrah and Hajj season, as well as serving scholarship students in the student housing during the pandemic, and the distinguished student in the Student Volunteering Club and over six years he served more than 4720 voluntary hours was honored by the student Rayan bin Sulaiman Al-Yahya.
After that, His Excellency honored the distinguished clubs in the student activity during the academic year, where the clubs of the colleges that won the Diamond Shield were honored, namely: The College of Engineering, College of Medicine, and College of Dentistry, and the clubs that won the Golden Shield, namely: College of Applied Medical Sciences, College of Science and Arts in Muthannab, College of Education, and the clubs that received the Silver Shield, namely: College of Science and Arts in Al-Ras, College of Science, College of Medicine and Medical Sciences in Onaiza, and the clubs that received the Bronze Shield are: Buraida Community College, College of Science and Arts in Aqla Al-Suqur, and College of Arabic Language and Social Studies.
