As the third Saudi university to achieve this milestone Renewal of the university's institutional accreditation from the Education and Training Evaluation Commission until 2027

His Excellency Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, President of the University, extended his thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman - may Allah protect them - for the attention and development that the education sector receives, and the support they provide for this sector to excel on the local and international level, which resulted - thanks to Allah - in the university obtaining full and unconditional institutional accreditation renewal from the Education and Training Evaluation Commission for the period from 2020 to 2027 as the third Saudi university to achieve this achievement.

Al-Dawood also praised the continuous support and encouragement received by the university from His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Meshal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Emir of Qassim Region, His Royal Highness Prince Fahd bin Turki bin Faisal bin Turki, and His Excellency the Minister of Education Dr. Hamad Al-Sheikh, praising their great role in this achievement achieved by the university.

He praised the efforts of the University Vice Presidency for Planning, Development and Quality, the Deanship of Development and Quality at the university, and all university employees, including faculty members, staff and students, who contributed significantly to the university's fulfillment and application of the highest quality standards that meet the needs of the local community and meet the requirements of the labor market, wishing everyone success and success, and that the university, with the efforts of its employees, reaches the highest local and international ranks, God willing.

For his part, His Excellency the UQU Vice President for Planning, Development and Quality, Prof. Khalid Bani Al-Harbi, stressed that Saudi universities are witnessing an unprecedented scientific and academic movement, as they compete among themselves in improving their educational outcomes and raising their academic efficiency to achieve the desired scientific status, pointing out that our universities follow the approach of prestigious international universities in comprehensive quality that ensures the achievement of academic quality standards and requirements to enhance the excellence of their educational programs and outputs.

Al-Harbi explained that universities resort to independent bodies concerned with applying quality concepts and standards to judge their performance independently and from a neutral perspective, noting that this is what Qassim University worked on by obtaining full institutional accreditation 2020-2027 from the Education and Training Evaluation Commission represented by the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Assessment, indicating that this achievement came to renew confidence in the university, its programs and institutional work in controlling its academic processes for the next seven years.

The UQU Vice President for Planning, Development and Quality stressed that this achievement reflects the university's efforts to improve its academic processes according to the best practices of total quality and institutional quality to distinguish its institutional performance and put it in the ranks of accredited and prestigious universities that take quality as a way to raise its status and academic reputation. It will also reflect on programmatic quality, in which the university has achieved many achievements, as it is the second Saudi university in the number of approved programs, which enhances its local and international status and raises its academic efficiency.

Al-Harbi said: This achievement would not have been possible without the grace of God first, then the support received by the university from the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, his Crown Prince, the follow-up and support of His Highness the Emir of Qassim Region, his deputy and the Minister of Education, as well as the full belief of the university staff and its leaders, headed by its President, Prof. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, in the importance of quality for educational institutions and the concerted efforts of my colleagues and my colleagues at the university, to achieve the expectations of our leaders to build a great country, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The university has met all the criteria and requirements necessary to obtain the renewal of academic accreditation, namely: The educational institution must prepare accurate and comprehensive self-evaluation study reports for all aspects of scientific, administrative and service activities to determine its quality levels, based on the accreditation standards prepared by the Education and Training Evaluation Commission, and undergo an external evaluation by an independent evaluation team to verify the validity of the results of the self-evaluation study and judge the levels of quality performance according to the Commission's standards. Before starting the accreditation process, it must prove that the main elements of the quality assurance and academic accreditation standards and the statutory justifications for practicing its work have been fulfilled.
