The university was recognized as the most influential university on Twitter for 2014, according to the Saudi Social Media Observatory "Elmam".
Mr. Bandar bin Ahmed Al-Rashoudi, Supervisor of the Media Center, congratulated on behalf of himself and on behalf of his colleagues at the center, stressing that this comes as a culmination of the support received by the center by the UQU President and his vice presidents in addition to the interaction of colleges, deanships and departments as partners in success, pointing out that the media center was established by a decision of the UQU President in 1432 A.H.
