On Thursday, 11/4/1442 A.H., the University, represented by the Innovation and Intellectual Property Center, in cooperation with the Social Development Bank, held a virtual meeting entitled "The Culture of Self-Employment" on the occasion of the Global Entrepreneurship Week. The meeting was presented by Mr. Ibrahim bin Ali Al-Zughaibi, Projects and Interviews Specialist at the Social Development Bank, in the presence of 410 people of both sexes who are interested in the field of entrepreneurship.
The meeting introduced self-employment in general and the differences between self-employment and employment in terms of advantages and challenges, in addition to emphasizing the importance of self-employment and its benefit to individuals, society and the national economy, in addition to introducing the bank in general and addressing social loans such as marriage, family, renovation and the Kanaf program, as well as project tracks, including the startup track, the graduate track, the mobile cart track and the localization track.
