His Excellency Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, President of the University, said: Our celebration of the 90th National Day is not only to raise a slogan, pictures, words or sentences, but we celebrate it to recall the glories of this country and the heroism of the founder King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud - may Allah have mercy on him - who and his men fought battles and heroics that drew a historical epic full of achievements and heroism that will remain forever in uniting the fragments of this blessed country that was built on the basis of the Book and Sunnah, and its flag became the greatest word, the word Tawhid (unity).
During the ceremony organized by the university today, Tuesday, 12/2/1442 AH, on the occasion of the National Day in the main lobby of the university city, in the presence of the university vice presidents and members of the university council, Al-Dawood added that this great state was not built or reached what it has reached easily, but faced many difficulties and overcame them at the hands of King Abdulaziz - may God have mercy on him - who proved to the whole world that this state is a state of monotheism and a state that embraces the two Holy Mosques. Then his righteous sons, King Saud, Faisal, Khalid, Fahd and Abdullah - may Allah have mercy on them - continued the march after him, and here we are in our prosperous era, the era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and His Highness the Crown Prince Prince Mohammed bin Salman - may Allah protect them and help them to complete the march of goodness, giving and growth.
Al-Dawood stressed that Qassim is a giving region under the leadership of His Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz and His Highness Prince Fahd bin Turki bin Faisal bin Turki bin Abdulaziz, saying: "We are fortunate to have His Highness and His Highness the Vice President for their support for this university and their constant encouragement to distinguish our university, which, praise be to God, has been distinguished by the leadership of the brothers and sisters," he said, extending thanks and appreciation to everyone for what the university has achieved in its journey since its inception, as the university, praise be to God, preceded universities that preceded it in its establishment Then the generous support the university receives from the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the Crown Prince, and the continuous support from His Highness the Emir of the region, His Highness the Deputy Emir, His Excellency the Minister of Education, His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Education, and all colleagues in the Ministry of Education and all concerned ministries, we thank God for what the university has achieved and look forward to more excellence, progress and development.
In his speech to the male and female students, the UQU President pointed out that they have a great responsibility after joining the university and joining a group of their colleagues in this university and those who graduated from it, and they have a responsibility to be diligent in their lessons, lectures, laboratories, laboratories, and all locations where they are present. He pointed out that this diligence is a victory for this country, support and celebration in the establishment of this country, when we preserve the gains of this country and endeavor to be a brick of goodness, giving and growth in our homeland, we preserve it and stand with it and its leadership to remain, God willing, high not only on the local level but also on the international level.

The ceremony held by the university on this occasion began with the playing of the royal peace, followed by the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by Abdullah bin Ali Al-Rashidi from the College of Shari`ah and Islamic Studies, then a national poem recited by Osama bin Abdullah Al-Hujailan from the College of Arabic Language and Social Studies, after which a visual material produced by the General Administration of Information and Communication at the university was presented.
