The meeting was presented by Dr. Fahad Al-Ahmad, Dean of Admission and Registration, as part of the activities of the third week of the virtual summer programs of the deanship, where the number of attendees participating in this meeting reached 89 male and female beneficiaries.
The meeting dealt with the mechanism of admission at the university, clarifying the unified admission period, where "Al-Ahmad" emphasized that there is no preference for the priority of submission, explaining that the student can amend the desire during the period of opening the admission portal by entering his application using the application number and password, noting that the application number is approved by the university until the university number is issued, and that female students have a special mechanism in admission and students do not compete with them for their seats, in addition to confirming the acceptance of the candidacy of female students directly where they receive a text message, noting that students must confirm their acceptance for the seat to which they are nominated, otherwise the student loses the seat.
He added that the national ID is a prerequisite for studying at the university, and the applicant must not be a candidate in another university, as this appears in the academic system, explaining that the weighted score is determined by 50% abilities, 20% achievement and 30% secondary test, and the measurement scores are updated automatically, and a question was answered about the preparatory year, where the Dean of Admission and Registration indicated that it is two classes in health and scientific majors, where all students compete for the seats of the preparatory year.
"Al-Ahmad" also pointed out that a link leading to the admission portal will be announced, stressing that grievances will be available after the admission result appears, noting that the number of seats is subject to the number of students and can be increased according to the capabilities of the colleges, and the transfer depends on the student's average and the requirements of some colleges, indicating that there is a preparatory class for the College of Business Administration, but whoever passes the test announced by the college does not need this class, explaining "Al-Ahmad" that until now there are no instructions on the nature of the study next semester whether it is remote or on the study premises, "Al-Ahmad" explained.
