A number of students from the University's College of Computing succeeded in obtaining an advanced position among the top 50 projects out of 1000 projects in the Homathon Challenge competition sponsored by the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones, which aims to promote innovative solutions to the current conditions of the Corona pandemic in 8 key areas.
Students from the College of Computing participated in the competition: Asim Al-Tuwaijri, Abdullah Al-Khalifi, Suhaib Al-Ghatimel, Abdulaziz Al-Jumaili, and Ibrahim Al-Aidan, by choosing the "Tabor Project", which revolves around the idea of creating an electronic application that avoids long waiting periods for store customers to get their goods, as the project allows stores to prepare goods in advance, allowing stores to organize customers' attendance in an orderly manner and avoid long waiting periods for customers.
