His Excellency Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, President of the University, extended his thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, for his generous confidence in extending his mandate as President of the University for the next four years, asking Allah to help him perform what he has been assigned to serve his religion, his king and his homeland.
Al-Dawood added, "I hope that God Almighty will grant us success to exert more efforts, under the guidance of our wise leadership, so that the university continues to achieve achieve achievements in line with our Kingdom's Vision 2030 and contribute to serving the country and the citizen, in light of the support enjoyed by the education sector in our dear homeland by our King and His Highness the Crown Prince, may God protect them."
Al-Dawood stressed that during the past period, there were real success partners who contributed with support and cooperation in order to achieve the goals and successes, foremost among them His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Meshal bin Saud, Emir of Qassim, and His Royal Highness Prince Fahd bin Turki bin Faisal, his deputy, who had a great role in developing the university and achieving a good reputation in several educational, research and community service fields. He concluded his statement by thanking His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education for his support for the university and his interest in its excellence. He also thanked his colleagues at the university for their cooperation and interaction, which had a positive impact on the university's progress over the past years. Dr. Al-Dawood prayed to Allah to keep our country safe, secure and stable, and to preserve its leaders and guide their steps and provide them with his help and success.
