The university reviewed the statistics of distance education at the university during 30 days, from 9/3/2020 to 9/4/2020, where the statistics included more than 3 million educational minutes provided by the university's faculty members to male and female students through the ZOOM system.
The total number of discussions in the discussion boards of the e-learning system through Blackboard amounted to about 362,000 discussions, 1065,510 total logins, 724063 total evaluations on the system, and 777,665 total files reviewed during the virtual classes on the Collaborate system.
During this period, a large number of virtual classes were held, amounting to 362212, and the total duration of virtual classes in hours amounted to 167741 hours, with the total total attendance of virtual classes 1486129, in addition to the total number of registered virtual classes amounting to 48815, while the statistics of using the e-learning system witnessed the discussion of 48 scientific theses, 34 research plans, and 1665 faculty councils and committees.
With regard to training, the training statistics included 323 training courses and 4962 trainees, the number of virtual classes on the Zoom system reached 4605, the number of participants in the sessions reached 77975, and the duration of the sessions in minutes reached 3311288 minutes, and the statistics of electronic tests reached 4476 tests, the number of academic divisions reached 4476 divisions, and the number of students reached 114363.
While the statistics of the supporting guidance resources included about 20 electronic tests and calendar, 17 Zoom meeting sessions (administrative), 32 lessons for virtual classes, 11 virtual classes through the Zoom program, 64 for bachelor's degrees, 58 for postgraduate studies, 22 for daily and weekly reports, with a total of 223 tests, meetings and virtual classes, and the technical support statistics amounted to 2720 through the technical support system Kiyako, direct contact, WhatsApp, and individual training through virtual classes and e-learning units in the colleges.
