Qassim University President inaugurates the new expansion building and exhibitions at the College of Designs in Buraydah

His Excellency the President of Qassim University, Prof. Khalid bin Abdulrahman Al-Hamoudi, inaugurated the new expansion building of the College of Designs and Home Economics in Buraydah, in the presence of the university vice presidents, the Director of Projects and Maintenance Department, Engineer Sulaiman bin Saleh Al-Faridi, and a number of university employees, the day before yesterday at the college headquarters.

His Excellency also inaugurated the college's three exhibitions (nutrition and food science, fashion design, and art education), which included the works of female students in these fields.

He pointed out that these new buildings reflect the unlimited support of the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and His Royal Highness the Deputy Crown Prince for higher education in general and women's colleges in particular, pointing out that the university is making great efforts to achieve the aspirations of the rulers in establishing and developing the study environment in women's colleges.

His Excellency praised the creativity of the college students and faculty members, pointing out that the College of Designs is a bright face of the university through the creativity of its students and their brilliance in various forums and events, especially the International Conference for Students of Higher Education, stressing that what he saw reflects the brilliance and ability of the university students to create and fly in its spaces, extending his sincere thanks to the Dean of the College, Dr. Fatima bint Mohammed Al-Farihi and her colleagues, vice deans, faculty members and employees for their positive role in serving the female students.
