Qassim University continued its honorable presence in scientific events by achieving two gold feathers at the Fifth Scientific Conference for male and female students of higher education, which was held under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in Riyadh with the participation of all Saudi universities, where it achieved two gold feathers represented by the student Imad Al-Sawair obtaining the golden feather in the humanities, and the student Maryam Al-Mutairi in the field of community service, in addition to many awards.
The university was also crowned with 17 out of 30 awards out of the total 30 Qassim Youth Excellence Awards, which was sponsored by the Emir of Qassim Region at the Emirate's Diwan in Buraydah, where the winners were honored with commemorative shields and cash prizes amounting to one million riyals.
The university recorded its active presence as an extension of its excellence in various events and participation in the region and the Kingdom in general, in addition to its excellence in Arab, regional and international events.
His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Khalid bin Abdulrahman Al-Hamoudi, expressed his happiness for these achievements that the university is proud of, stressing that this comes as an extension of the university's presence and its honorable positive participation in various scientific, cultural and creative events and events, congratulating his sons and daughters, wishing them more success and brilliance.
He pointed out that the support of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the Crown Prince for higher education has contributed to highlighting these student talents through the generous sponsorship of all events and activities that gather Saudi universities, praising His Highness the Emir of the region and His Highness the Deputy Emir for their support for the university's march, and extending his thanks and appreciation to the Minister of Higher Education for his interest in purposeful events that would highlight the capabilities of students and nurture their talents.
For his part, the Dean of Student Affairs at the university, Dr. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Sharida, congratulated the male and female students on these achievements, stressing that this is a reason to be proud of these elite male and female students.
