A scientific lecture at the university on "The bond between the political and religious leadership during the reign of King Abdulaziz"

The University, represented by the College of Arabic Language and Social Studies, held a scientific lecture entitled "Bonding between the political and religious leadership during the reign of King Abdulaziz" on Wednesday, 8/4/1441 AH, as part of the university's scientific enrichment program, presented by Prof. Ahmed Al-Bassam, in the presence of a number of college staff and students.

 

During the lecture, Al-Bassam talked about the bond between the two leaderships from the foundation since the establishment of the first Saudi state, which was represented in the Diriyah Agreement in 1157 AH, and the founding King Abdulaziz - may God have mercy on him - maintained this relationship and the opinion of the scholars was valued by him, except for those on which the scholars were not unanimous, and King Abdulaziz used to ask the scholars on many issues and refer the opinion to them, and the founder considered the interest, took the opinion and worked to build on the light of the methodology of the Book and Sunnah, as the lecturer touched on the developments in the country while maintaining the approach by valuing the scholars and listening to them, which was followed by his sons after
