Dr. Al-Omar: The confidence of the king and Sam and the university will continue its qualitative leaps

The decision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques was issued to appoint Prof. Dr. Ibrahim bin Saleh Al-Omar as Vice Chancellor of Qassim University, succeeding Prof. Abdulmunim bin Ibrahim Al-Abdulmunim.
On this occasion, Dr. Al-Omar expressed his pride in the generous royal trust, stressing that it is a medal that will push him to exert more effort to contribute with his fellow vice presidents under the management of the university director to achieve the aspirations of the wise leadership in providing university education that keeps pace with the development of the Kingdom and contributes to building the human being of this nation, praying to God Almighty to help him and guide his steps in bearing this trust entrusted to him by the rulers, appreciating in conclusion the trust of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and UQU President, hoping to be in good faith.
It is noteworthy that Dr. Ibrahim Al-Omar obtained his doctorate in economics from Kansas State University, USA, 1423 AH/2002, specializing in money, banking and development.
He obtained his master's degree in Islamic economics from Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University, Riyadh, 1412 AH.
His bachelor's degree was also in economics from the College of Shari'ah at Imam Muhammad Bin Nasud Islamic University, Qassim, 1406 AH.
Dr. Al-Omar is an active member of a number of research centers such as the Sustainable Development Center at the university and a member of the Investment Development Committee in Al-Qassim, in addition to being a visiting professor at Kansas State University, USA, 1433-1434 AH.
Dr. Al-Omar holds a distinguished administrative and academic record that began as a lecturer until he assumed the chair of the Dean of the College of Economics and Administration from 1428 to 1433, in addition to supervising the College of Business in Buraydah from 30 to 33 AH
Dr. Al-Omar has deep research efforts and research publications in monetary theory, banking, growth and development, Islamic economics, macroeconomic analysis, Islamic finance, and transactional jurisprudence.
