Faisal bin Meshal attends the university's celebration of the 89th National Day

His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Qassim Region, sponsored today, Tuesday, 25/1/1441 AH, the university's celebration on the occasion of the 89th National Day, which was held in the main lobby of the University City, in the presence of a number of university employees, including students, faculty members and employees, as the university was dressed in the green color of the national flag on the anniversary of the unification of the country by the founding leader King Abdulaziz.

He toured the exhibition, which provides a lot of documentary information about the first Saudi state, the second Saudi state and the third Saudi state, in addition to the most important achievements of the Kingdom's kings, as well as the presentation of more than 160 student participation in the exhibition, after which the royal peace was played, followed by the recitation of the Holy Quran, and then the ceremony's paragraphs began with a homeland march by university students in front of His Highness the Amir of the region.

After the university students finished their march, a movie titled "Here for Glory is a Summit..." was shown. After that, a video clip was shown expressing the feelings of the university's scholarship students from a number of nationalities, through which they conveyed their feelings towards the Kingdom's leadership and people in celebration of the National Day, followed by a movie about the university in numbers, which contained statistics on the number of students at the university, the number of affiliates, colleges, accreditations, achievements, local and international awards achieved by the university, championships, and tournaments, as well as the university's achievements.

HH The Amir expressed his happiness at his presence on this day and this precious occasion in one of the strongholds of science at the University of Qassim, stressing that this innovative university under the leadership of its leader, Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, and his esteemed colleagues, their keenness and the keenness of all education officials to enshrine the national spirit in the sons and daughters of the country, which is a pride and pride for all of us.

His Highness praised the exhibition accompanying the celebration on campus, which tells the history of this country, since its inception, and what he saw of the feelings that are greater than the exhibition, in the hearts of the men of this university and its affiliates, and thanks to God from the love of the sons and daughters of this country, which makes all our days a national day, not limited to one day a year, which is the launch of the name of the Kingdom 89 years ago, but, thank God, we see on every national day, the patriotism of the young men and women of this country, and we have become an example in patriotism.

His Highness expressed his pride in the Saudi citizen, saying: "I always say that the Saudi speaks with him in every field, and when the matter touches the homeland, it becomes a red line, and this feeling is for every citizen, and I pray to God to preserve for the homeland its wise leadership, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Highness the Crown Prince, and every citizen or official in this country, and we are very proud of our homeland, and proud above all of our people "the golden people".

His Excellency Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, President of the University, extended his thanks and appreciation to His Highness for his patronage of this celebration, which demonstrates his interest in education and its people. He pointed out that this participation expresses the extent of his keenness and interest in the university staff and students, stressing that the National Day celebration at the university is different from all celebrations because it is related to the love of this dear homeland, of which Qassim University is part, and part of this region.

His Excellency stressed that the university, praise be to God, has achieved many achievements and advanced positions in many scientific forums, as it achieved the second place in academic accreditation, accrediting 26 academic programs to occupy the second place among Saudi universities, and it is also preparing now to register institutional accreditation, indicating that there are a number of programs that have been signed contracts with the Education and Training Evaluation Commission, and a number of achievements achieved by the university's professors and students, thanks to God, then by the support the university receives from the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and His Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman - may God preserve him.

Al-Dawood explained that the National Day is not a slogan to be raised, or a banner to be carried, but rather the National Day on which we remember those heroic epics, led by the founder of this country, King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud - may God rest his soul - and the kings after him, and here we are in the prosperous era, the era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, we live, praise God, in security and safety, stressing that this security, prosperity and achievement did not come from nothing but came with epics and efforts made at all levels.

The university president said: "We must preserve these gains, and realize that they did not come by easy ways, but by difficult and rugged ways, until we are now, praise be to God, basking in their shadows, living in prosperity and living unmatched in the world under this security and this national cohesion that we are proud of and proud of in all the countries around us and the world in general, and we ask God to preserve our country, to give victory to our soldiers, to heal our wounded, to have mercy on our martyrs, and to give us victory over those who oppose us, and to keep this country safe and secure."

At the end of the ceremony, H.H. the Emir of the region, UQU President, UQU Vice Presidents, and deans of colleges participated in the Saudi Arabian dance, and inaugurated the blood donation vehicle for the brave soldiers of the homeland, which is supervised by the Medical City.
