First Master's thesis defense at the College of Computing at Qassim University

The College of Computing at Qassim University witnessed the defense of the first master's thesis in computer science, which was submitted by the student Maha bint Fahad Al-Otaibi, entitled "An integrated approach to face recognition in dim light conditions", under the supervision of Dr. Munir Rabbani and Dr. Master Prince. The arbitration and discussion committee was attended by Dr. Al-Hawari Ghouthi, Assistant Professor at the College of Engineering and Computer Science at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, and Dr. Khalil Al-Shukairat, Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Science, the student successfully passed the discussion and the committee recommended awarding her a master degree with excellent grades.

The Dean of the College, Dr. Abdullah bin Ibrahim Al-Shoushan, said that this successful thesis is a strong start for the master's program in computer science at the College of Computing at the university, wishing that the students of the college will continue their excellence and continue their postgraduate studies, which the university always seeks to expand its circle to serve students, society and the country in general.
