The university, represented by the Deanship of Scientific Research, will hold the first scientific symposium for scientific research in Arab universities - a comparative study - tomorrow, Tuesday, 11/1/1441 AH, at the theater of medical clinics in the university city, with the aim of activating the participation of university faculty members interested in scientific research, exchanging information between Arab universities in this field, in addition to learning and opening up to what Arab countries have in the field of scientific research, learning about the various approaches and research interests, benefiting from research experiences and practices in Arab universities, and identifying the strengths of research approaches
For his part, the Director of the Sharia and Linguistic Sciences Research Center at the university, Prof. Dr. Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Khudair, explained that the symposium targets faculty members of both sexes and postgraduate students, with the participation of 10 speakers from several Arab countries: We are in a time of civilizational rapprochement, knowledge and cultural exchange, as we live in a qualitative stage with specific goals and visions in all directions and fields, which lies in the pioneering and historic Vision 2030.
Therefore, the Research Center for Sharia and Linguistic Sciences at the university was keen to organize this scientific symposium to raise the level of scientific research in the fields of Sharia and linguistic sciences by presenting the experiences of major Arab universities, identifying the strengths of the experiences, interests and approaches of these countries from our great Arab homeland in scientific research, and selecting everything that would help in developing the research experience at the university.
He pointed out that the center is trying to draw a clear path for researchers to gather aspects of effective research work, which would shorten the distance, accelerate the research process, and make us able to compete regionally and internationally, indicating that this seminar organized by the center comes as a prelude to holding subsequent seminars - God willing - on experiences, approaches and research interests in American, European and East Asian universities.
