Qassim University renewed the services contract with Huazeng Agricultural University in China, where the contract was signed on behalf of the UQU President by Prof. Abdulrahman bin Saleh Al-Wasl, UQU Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, and from the Chinese side, the university director, Prof. Dr. Deng Xiaoxin, in the presence of Prof. Abdulrahman Abalakhil, Supervisor of International Cooperation, Dr. Khaled Al-Harbi, Dean of the College of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Abdullah Al-Suhaym, Vice Dean of the College, and several employees of Huazeng University.
The two sides discussed the prospects of cooperation between the two universities and important issues in the agricultural aspect of the two countries and ways to benefit from this close relationship in developing the research, scientific and academic aspects at the College of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine.
For his part, Dr. Al-Wasl stressed the importance of activating this contract and preparing a timetable for the activities and programs to be implemented during the two-year contract period, pointing out that the university is interested in activating international cooperation with the most prominent universities in various medical, engineering, agricultural and other fields, hoping that this agreement will achieve the desired goals.
The Supervisor of International Cooperation at the University, Dr. Abdulrahman Abaalkhail, stressed that the depth of cooperation and interaction between the two universities in the first version of the contract encouraged the renewal of cooperation between them, stressing that cooperation with distinguished universities in various fields will bring the university many benefits that will develop the academic, research and scientific aspects, praising the UQU President and the university vice presidents for their support for the international cooperation process, indicating that the cooperation between the two universities includes holding training workshops and allowing university students to complete their graduate studies at Huazeng University, in addition to activating the student exchange program.
