The College of Sciences and Arts in Al-Nabhaniyah, affiliated to the University, has started its work in its new headquarters, which was inaugurated during the visit of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud - may Allah protect him - during his recent visit to the Qassim region as part of the projects inaugurated in the region, as the female employees of the college started their work in the new building on Sunday, 12/17/1440 AH, in preparation for receiving about 830 female students at the beginning of the new academic year next Sunday.
For her part, the Dean of the College, Dr. Majida Al-Ayed, explained that the new building was prepared to receive female students in four majors: English language, Islamic studies, mathematics, and physics: English Language, Islamic Studies, Mathematics and Physics, under the directives of His Excellency Prof. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, President of the University.
She added that the new building is equipped with all the necessary facilities for the educational process on a total area estimated at 15,000 square meters, where the building includes 27 classrooms prepared to receive female students, in addition to five physics labs, a chemistry lab, and two computer labs equipped with all supplies, as well as a main library equipped with reading tables, individual offices for research and study, a number of scientific books and valuable knowledge, a cafeteria hall with a large accommodation space for female students, and a number of meeting rooms and training rooms fully equipped to hold training courses.
The Dean of the College emphasized that this new building comes within the efforts of our wise government, represented by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the Crown Prince - may Allah protect them - to serve the country and the citizen, and aspire to achieve Vision 2030, praying to Allah Almighty for success and success for all in serving religion and the nation.
