Today, Sunday, 25/11/1440 A.H., the university announced the names of 19 Saudis of both sexes appointed to the post of "Teaching Assistant" in several specializations in a number of colleges of the university, after they met the announced conditions for the job and passed the written test according to their respective specializations, as the university had announced on its website its need for teaching assistant positions in a number of specializations according to the need.
For his part, the Director of the Teaching Assistants Department, Mr. Muhammad Al-Shalahi, explained that the application for the positions was done electronically, then the files were sorted according to the announced terms and conditions of appointment, and the files were studied in the concerned colleges, and then the written tests were conducted for the applicants according to a timetable for each college, with criteria for passing the test with a minimum score of 75 degrees, indicating that the average, abilities and the score of the written and scientific or oral test for some specialties were calculated according to an electronic program.
Al-Shalahi added that the candidates made a scientific presentation in the field of specialization before a committee formed by the University Vice Presidency for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research and the concerned colleges, after which the results were presented to the department and college councils and the Standing Committee for Teaching Assistants and Lecturers Affairs, followed by submitting the recommendations to Prof. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, UQU President, to approve the committee's minutes and announce the names of those nominated according to the rules and criteria used in the appointments of faculty members and their equivalents.
