His Excellency the President of Qassim University, Prof. Khalid bin Abdulrahman Al-Hamoudi, approved the launch of a center for the development of scientific research skills for university students under the supervision of the Deanship of Student Affairs in order to develop their research capabilities, stressing the importance of being a radiation center concerned with training and development and working to create and build distinguished students in the field of scientific research.
His Excellency launched the website of the fifth preparatory forum for the fifth scientific conference for male and female students of higher education in the Kingdom, in the presence of the UQU Vice President for Planning, Development and Quality, Prof. Dr. Sulaiman bin Abdulaziz Al-Yahya, the Dean of Student Affairs at the university, Dr. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Sharida, and the Vice Dean of the Deanship, Dr. Fahad bin Ibrahim Al-Dhalei.
His Excellency emphasized that male and female students are the center of the educational process in universities, and developing their capabilities is the means of progress for nations and societies, pointing out that this is what prompted the Ministry of Higher Education to launch the annual conference, stressing that Qassim University is urged to actively participate in such scientific events, which the university students crowned by obtaining golden feathers and advanced awards in previous conferences.
In this context, the Shawar voluntary team affiliated to the Deanship of Student Affairs completed the introductory campaign for the preparatory forum for the fifth scientific conference organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, which aims to raise the value of scientific research, enrich society, and introduce and guide students to scientific research. The campaign included a mobile exhibition between the university colleges, in which team members contribute to introducing university students to the conference in all respects, as well as contribute to motivating students to participate and answer any questions and inquiries received, in addition to providing introductory publications. The exhibition provided immediate registration service to participate in the preparatory forum and was launched
It is noteworthy that the exhibition witnessed a great turnout of students and faculty members in terms of participation and visitation, while souvenirs were distributed to them.
