The University, represented by the Deanship of Community Service, launched its first activities under the name of the "Community Service Nights" program within the Basr Festival at Prince Faisal bin Meshal Park in Basr, from 13 to 20 of this month.
The program received a large number of visitors, who exceeded 645 visitors. The program provided them with medical examinations, including the optical department receiving 116 cases, including a case of lazy eye, a case of high eye pressure, glaucoma, retinal detachment, and cataracts, and the radiology department received 33 cases, including 14 cases of osteoporosis, while the laboratory department received 203 male and female beneficiaries.
The deanship offers a number of nutritional awareness programs, pharmaceutical education programs, medical laboratories, training courses, oral and dental health programs, vision screening programs, various entertainment programs, in addition to daily competitions and prizes, with the participation of the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies, College of Medicine, College of Dentistry, College of Applied Medical Sciences, College of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine, and College of Medicine in Aniza.
