The Chadian wedding held by the Chadian pavilion participating in the "Peoples' Heritage 40" festival at the university attracted the attention of visitors and attendees from students and university affiliates, due to the distinctive and different marriage ceremonies in this Muslim African country from other countries. The scholarship students representing the Chadian team at the festival presented a simulation of the marriage method in their country, which is characterized by wearing a mask through their customary dress on the wedding night, dancing and performances on stage that drew the attention of the attendees.
About the difference in marriage ceremonies in this country, student Abu Bakr Yahya Muhammad said: "This dress and dance is customary in our country on the night of marriage, and this is how the groom is received to enter his house on the wedding night, and the groom must be masked, so that his face is not seen by his wife, and the bride is also completely covered, as well as the groom does not open his mouth except to perform ablution or enter his wife, as our custom is that the husband's mouth can only be seen by his wife on this night."
The Chadian student explained that his country's pavilion is participating in this festival for the fifth consecutive year. On behalf of his colleagues, he thanked the university for holding such festivals because they remind them of their homelands through popular foods, clothing and the heritage of each country, and thanked all the organizers for their efforts during the three-day festival, which lasted for three days in the main lobby of the University City in Al-Malidah.
On the other hand, the flash of the audience's flashes went to the pavilion of the European Muslim country of Albania, which witnessed the participation of two young girls "Lian and Bisma", who wore Albanian folkloric clothes, which is considered a heritage of the Republic of Albania, as the two girls were the youngest participants in the festival under the dome of the university.
