Course Description: This course describes the main areas of sports nutrition and defines its general principles and foundations by identifying major and minor nutrients, along with their related digestion, absorption, metabolism, and storage processes. It also covers important dietary guidelines and recommendations for athletes and presents some scientific strategies that can be used.

Objectives of the course :

This course aims to provide knowledge of sports nutrition.
1. Lists the main areas of sports nutrition.
Explains the general principles and foundations of sports nutrition.
3. Lists macronutrients and micronutrients and their associated processes of digestion, absorption, metabolism, and storage.
4. Reviews the most important nutritional guidelines and recommendations for athletes and presents some scientific strategies that can be used.
