Course Description: This course addresses the scientific and practical foundations of managing sports and recreational facilities. It examines modern methods in planning, organizing, operating, and monitoring within these facilities. The course focuses on the nature of administrative, technical, and financial tasks associated with sports facility management, building effective organizational structures, and preparing operational plans, work programs, and timelines that contribute to achieving the facility's objectives efficiently. The course also highlights the key challenges facing sports and recreational facilities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, particularly those related to operational efficiency, financial sustainability, service quality, safety, and the management of human and material resources. The course aims to develop students' ability to analyze these challenges and propose appropriate strategies to overcome them and mitigate their impact.
