Course Description: The course "Principles of Exercises and Their Applications (1)" is a fundamental practical introduction aimed at equipping students with the knowledge and skills related to the performance and organization of physical exercises. The course focuses on training students in the performance of preparatory movements such as walking, running, jumping, hopping, crawling, and balancing. It also covers mastering fundamental, derived, and specific body positions, and learning "system exercises" as a method for coordinating group motor performance. Furthermore, the course trains students in writing individual exercise routines using correct technical terminology and providing the accompanying verbal cues. It establishes organized motor performance and develops skill in designing basic exercises in preparation for practical application of exercises to develop various physical qualities in subsequent courses, especially "Principles of Exercises and Their Applications (2).".

Objectives of the course :

The course "Principles of Exercises and Their Applications (1)" aims to enable students to acquire the fundamental skills related to performing and organizing physical exercises. This is achieved through mastering preparatory movements, original and derived static and dynamic positions, and developing the ability to scientifically write individual exercises and provide the accompanying verbal commands for performance. The course also aims to establish a motor and skill-based foundation that will later qualify students to systematically apply physical exercises to develop various physical qualities within advanced courses in the academic program.
