Course Description: The student will write a scientific research paper in accordance with the plan approved by the Deanship of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research. The paper will be completed within a specified period under the direct supervision of a qualified specialist from the program faculty. It will then be evaluated and graded by a discussion committee consisting of three main examiners and two reserve examiners.

Objectives of the course :

The student writes a specialized scientific research paper in the field of psychological counseling (major in school counseling or family counseling) according to scientific methodology, benefiting from modern technology, and adhering to the ethics of scientific research to disseminate specialized knowledge in the field of psychological counseling.

  • The student knows the concepts and terminology of psychological counseling in the subject of the scientific thesis.
  • The student knows the psychological counseling theories related to the thesis topic.
  • The student describes the scientific method in addressing the research paper's topic theoretically and practically.
