Cognitive Structure: Its meaning, importance, relationship to long-term memory, its role in learning, and its impact on cognitive strategies. 3. Attention as a Cognitive Process: The concept of attention, determinants of attention, the role of attention in information processing, and models of attention. 4. Perception as a Cognitive Process: The meaning of perception, determinants of perception, and the role of perception in information processing. 5. Memory: The concept of memory and its models and processes, memory strategies and aids, metacognition, and training programs to improve recall. 6. Metacognition: Its concept and role in learning and cognitive activity, dimensions or components of metacognition, and metacognitive strategies. 7.
