The student explains the basic concepts of measurement and evaluation, distinguishes between their types and levels, and clarifies the integrated relationship between measurement as a quantitative tool and evaluation as a process of judgment and educational decision-making.
The student analyzes the functions and objectives of educational evaluation, interprets its basic steps, and explains its uses in developing the educational process and improving teacher and learner performance within an effective learning environment.
The student understands the principles and foundations of constructing educational and psychological tests, identifies the conditions for test quality in terms of validity and reliability, and interprets the importance of statistical treatments in explaining measurement and evaluation results using modern tools and techniques.
The student applies the steps of constructing educational and psychological tests, starting with defining objectives and formulating items, through application methods, and ending with accurate scoring and interpretation of results.
The student analyzes the measurement results using appropriate statistical methods, such as measures of central tendency, dispersion, and correlation, employing computer programs for statistical processing.
The student designs measurement tools suitable for the educational objectives and conducts effective educational assessment using various strategies such as classification, ordering, and rating according to the educational situation.
