Course Description: This course covers the concept of play psychology, its objectives, and its importance, while highlighting the concept of play and its characteristics, functions, manifestations, and value in children's lives. It also explores its relationship with variables such as self-concept, age, and creativity (curiosity-problem solving). Additionally, the course delves into the types of play, their conditions, and their development at each stage of childhood, as well as their importance in shaping a child's personality. The course also addresses theories explaining play and their utility in diagnosis and treatment.

Objectives of the course :

The Play Psychology course aims to equip students with psychological knowledge of all aspects of children's play, and to introduce them to the concept of play psychology, its objectives, importance, and characteristics. It also seeks to clarify the role of play in children's lives, in addition to introducing psychological theories that explain play and their extent of benefit in diagnosis and treatment.
