The objective of studying this course is to introduce the student to and familiarize them with the labor system, its scope of application, the formation of employment contracts, their effects on the employer or employee, the termination of employment contracts, and the methods of resolving labor disputes. This course also aims to familiarize the student with the rules and provisions of the Social Insurance System, its scope of application, especially those related to work injuries, unemployment, old age, disability, and dismissal. This is in accordance with the provisions of Islamic Sharia and the regulations issued in this regard.
Knowledge and understanding:
The student will know the general principles governing labor law in accordance with the Saudi Labor System.
2- The student shall explain the types of employment contracts and their provisions, as well as the cases of their termination.
3. The student explains the relationship between the labor and social insurance systems.
4. The student analyzes the rulings and effects of social insurance branches.

Course Topics:
Introduction to Labor Law and its position among other branches of law, sources of labor law and its characteristics, scope of application of labor law.
Definition of an individual employment contract, identification of its parties and elements, role of subordination in distinguishing employment contracts from other contracts, the element of wages, forms of actual wages and their accessories.
The legal system for wage payment and its legal protection, the conclusion and proof of an employment contract.
The legal system for wage payment and its legal protection, concluding and proving employment contracts, employing disabled workers, mediation in concluding employment contracts, freedom of contract for work and its restrictions.
Conditions for Valid Employment Contract Conclusion, Proof of Employment Contract.
Labor contracts with special regulations (vocational training contract, probationary employment contract).
