Course Description: Theoretical: Introduction – Quality Standards – Quality Laws and Legislation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – Total Quality Management and ISO Systems – Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) – Statistical Methods in Quality Control. Practical: Training on sampling methods – Quality control methods in factories – Quality control methods by government agencies – Field visits to factories – Visit to the Food and Drug Authority.

Objectives of the course :

The course aims to study food quality assurance methods, comprehensive quality concepts, and standard specifications, as well as to familiarize students with local and international food legislation.

2. Knowledge of quality control and assurance organizations.
