Course Description: Theoretical: Definitions and basic concepts of nutrition education. Factors affecting nutrition education, such as social factors, behaviors, and dietary habits. Communication and public speaking skills with community members. Types and methods of choosing nutrition education tools. Planning and implementing nutrition education programs in Saudi society. Study of nutrition education programs implemented in the Kingdom and the Arab Gulf region. Nutrition education in Islam. Practical: Training students on how to develop a nutrition education program, as well as planning and implementing a nutrition education program for a target group. Production of some educational tools such as posters, advertisements, films, etc. Using the modern food pyramid to spread nutritional awareness among community members.

1. Identifying factors influencing nutrition education.

4. Identifying proper communication methods and spreading awareness among Saudi society members.
