Course Description: This English as a Foreign Language (EFL) course enhances students' abilities to comprehend, analyze, and produce more complex texts, which are essential skills for academic success. The course focuses on developing reading comprehension and writing skills by addressing diverse topics in sociology, nutrition science, and information technology. Students will learn to identify main ideas, utilize glossaries and footnotes, and apply multiple reading strategies. Writing assignments include paragraph organization, outline preparation, and the composition of descriptive essays, opinion essays, and narrative essays. Students will also work independently to expand their vocabulary and improve their reading and writing skills by utilizing technological resources.
