Course Description: This course provides an in-depth study of advanced theories, models, and methods in managerial decision-making at both strategic and operational levels. The course focuses on developing the analytical and critical capabilities of doctoral students in analyzing decision-making processes in environments characterized by complexity, uncertainty, and risk. The course covers classical and contemporary theoretical frameworks, cognitive biases, quantitative and qualitative decision models, group decision-making, the role of technology and artificial intelligence, and ethical aspects in managerial decisions. The course also aims to equip students with advanced research skills to analyze and develop innovative decision models that contribute to enhancing contemporary managerial practices.

Objectives of the course :

1. Conduct an in-depth critical analysis of classical and contemporary theories and models in managerial decision-making.
2. Applying advanced quantitative and qualitative methods to analyze organizational and strategic problems,
3. Understanding and analyzing cognitive and behavioral biases and their fundamental impact on decision-making processes.
4. Design innovative decision-making models that integrate ethical, social, and environmental dimensions.
5. Strategic evaluation of the role of technology, artificial intelligence, and big data analytics in enhancing the quality of decision-making outcomes. And in conclusion
6. Conduct original applied research that effectively contributes to the development of scientific knowledge by critically analyzing and improving existing decision-making models.”
