Course Description: * Culture and Education: The concept of culture, its elements, characteristics, functions, benefits, and levels. * Cultural Change. * The concept of philosophy of education and the importance of its study. * Human Nature from the perspective of different philosophies: Idealism, Naturalism, Empiricism, Islam. * The problem of knowledge from the perspective of some philosophies: Idealism, Naturalism, Empiricism, Islam. * A critical study of the educational implications in some philosophies: Idealism, Naturalism, Empiricism. * Educational implications in some philosophies from an Islamic perspective.

After studying this course, the student will be able to:
• Knows what is meant by the concept of Islamic culture.
Identifies the most important elements of Islamic culture and their significance for the individual and society.
Recognizes the relationship between education and culture, and its various elements and characteristics.
• Concludes the nature of cultural change.
• It clarifies the importance of studying Islamic culture for the teacher and the learner.
• Provides a correct definition for the following concepts: Philosophy, Education.
• It explains the relationship between the components of culture and education.
• Understands the concept of the philosophy of education and the importance of its study.
Compares the viewpoints of some philosophies on human nature.
Compares the viewpoints of some philosophies on the issue of knowledge.
• Critiques the educational content found in the philosophies of idealism, naturalism, and empiricism.
