Course Description: This course offers a detailed introduction to micronutrients essential for human health. It covers the functions, food sources, requirements, and effects of deficiency or toxicity for fat-soluble and water-soluble vitamins, macrominerals, trace minerals, and ultratrace minerals. Students will explore the role of these nutrients in maintaining optimal health and preventing disorders.

Objectives of the course :

The objective of this course is to provide students with knowledge of micronutrient functions, food sources, and nutritional requirements across different age groups.
